Getting Started

How do I create my first event?

Tap the + button on the Events screen. Choose your event type (Race, Lap Timing, or Time Trial), set the distance and laps, then add your runners.

What's the difference between Race, Lap Timing, and Time Trial?

Race is for single-lap events where you record finishers. Lap Timing tracks multiple laps per runner with colour-coded progress. Time Trial gives each runner their own staggered start clock.

How do I add runners?

You can type names manually, import from a saved roster, or assign QR/NFC wristbands for scan-to-identify.

Recording Methods

Which recording method should I use?

Tap is fastest for small groups you know by sight. Bib entry works well for numbered races. QR scanning is great for recurring sessions with wristbands. NFC is the fastest hands-free option.

Can I mix recording methods?

Yes! You can switch between methods during an event. Tap some runners, scan others — whatever works in the moment.

How do QR wristbands work?

Assign a QR code to each runner in their roster profile. Print or display the codes on wristbands. During an event, point your camera at a runner's wristband to record their time.
